Center for Reproductive Rights:
A Thousand Miles for Care

In 2023, more than 170,000 Americans had to travel out of the state for reproductive care. No one should be forced to travel for essential healthcare.

We partnered with Vanessa Carlton to use her iconic song “A Thousand Miles” to tell the story of those who have had to travel the metaphorical and literal thousand miles to receive care they need.
